| | | Anchored in community, rooted in place. | | | | | | | | | | | It feels like fall has arrived overnight, and with it comes one of the biggest questions I’m hearing: are rates finally going to drop? The Federal Reserve is expected to cut rates in September, with another possible cut before the end of the year. While mortgage rates don’t always move in direct step with the Fed, this shift could make a big difference in our local market.
What That Means for You:
Thinking of Buying? Lower borrowing costs can help you afford more home for your money. With demand strong in Essex County, now is a great time to position yourself before activity picks up even more.
Considering Refinancing? This fall could be the perfect moment to lower your monthly payment or shorten your loan term.
Looking to Sell? As buyers gain more purchasing power, it creates fresh opportunities to attract strong offers, especially in our desirable communities with top schools and small-town charm. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | September is packed with local favorites you won’t want to miss! | Colby Farm Sunflower Festival (Newbury) – Wander through fields of golden blooms and enjoy farm stand treats—an iconic late-summer tradition. From sunflowers to parades to music by the sea, there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate our vibrant community this month, rounding out the end of summer. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It feels like summer flew by in the blink of an eye! | Between soaking up the last of the warm days and getting my son ready for school, it’s been a busy but exciting season.
This year, I’m especially proud to share that Pentucket Regional High School, Newburyport High School, and Masconomet Regional High School all earned spots among the top-ranked schools in Essex County. These recognitions highlight the incredible strength of our local education system and are a big reason why so many families are drawn to this area.
I’ve been working with several young families eager to move into our community, and it’s easy to see why—between the top schools, small-town charm, and strong sense of belonging, our towns are truly special.
With so much demand, if you’ve been considering downsizing, now is a wonderful time to sell. Families are ready and waiting to make this their home. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 3 Easy Ways to Cozy Up Your Home for Fall | As summer winds down, give your home a warm seasonal refresh with a few simple touches:
